Ronald A. Stadnik

Ronald A. Stadnik, Sr., 83, of Elyria, died Tuesday January 27, 2026 in Orlando, FL.  He was born January 17, 1943 in Cleveland and was a 1961 graduate of St. Stanislaus High School.  He worked in vehicle maintenance at Cuyahoga Vending from where he retired.  Ron was a member of St. Jude Church in Elyria and was an Eagle Scout .  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, visiting Disney, spending winters in Florida and his grandchildren.  He loved the challenge of fixing things. 

Ron is survived by his wife of 30 years, Georgene B. (nee Barney); son, Ronald (Angela) Stadnik, Jr of Elyria; daughter, Laura (Robert) Bunevich of Lakewood; stepchildren, Anthony Santoro of Las Vegas, Andrew (Jennifer) Santoro of Elyria and Elizabeth (fiancé Matt Hurst) Fernandez of Elyria; grandchildren, Steffani (Chris), Alyssa (Chase), Taylor (Stefan), Jesse (Janeth), Cody (Kaylee), Madison (Matt), Ronny, Rylie (Doug) (Will), Lexa (fiancé, William), Gunner and Nova; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Elaine (Jim) Szemplak, Judy (Andy-dec) Fijalkovich, Janice (John) Gallagher, Raymond (Monica) Stadnik and Bryan (Pat) Stadnik and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Adeline Stadnik; baby brother, Joseph and great-grandson, Titus.

Friends will be received Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Dicken, Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.  A funeral service will be Monday, February 9, 2026 at 10:30 am at Dicken, Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center.  Fr. Jose Fifin of St. Jude Church will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
