Rose Marie Vargo

Rose Marie Vargo (nee Reeping), 77, of Bethesda, MD, died June 28, 2023 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda.  She was born June 1, 1946 to Helen (nee Dolan) and John Reeping, Sr.  She was employed as an accountant at Steward Petroleum.  Rose Marie had a passion for golf and was past president of The U.S. Women’s Golf Association, Maryland chapter.

Rose Marie is survived by her husband, Andrew Vargo; daughter, Wendy Vargo; sisters, Pauline and Regina and a brother, Robert.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Irene, Dorothy, Margaret, Bernice, Mary and Patricia and brothers, James, Joseph and John, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:00 am at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.  Reverend Father John P. Seabold will officiate.
