Sadie P. Hardik

Sadie P. Hardik (nee Corbin), 91, of Elyria, died Sunday October 6, 2024.  She was born November 2, 1932 in Theresa, NY, was a 1951 graduate of Watertown High School and has been an Elyria resident since 1954.   Sadie retired from Gilford Instruments/Ciba Corning in Oberlin.  She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Elyria and served on the Alter Guild.  She enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother in addition to cooking, baking, flower gardening and dancing.

Sadie is survived by a daughter, Linda (Martin) Smith and a son, Martin (Michelle) Kreutzke, both of Elyria; grandchildren, Lisa (Gregory) Altobelli, Brian (Angela) Abbey and Kelly (Evan Carlson) Kreutzke; three great-grandchildren and a sister, Jane DeLong.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, John M. Hardik in 2005; daughter, Lois Kreutzke; son, Michael Kreutzke; parents, Floyd and Margaret Corbin; sisters, Virginia Kline, Shirley McConnell and Evelyn Brownell and a brother, Elmer Corbin. 

Friends will be received Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of an 11:00 am service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Reverend Bill Mugnolo officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
