Steven W. Forbush
Steven W. Forbush, 39, of Elyria, died Tuesday July 27, 2010 from complications of heart disease. He was born April 12, 1971 in Oberlin and was a 1989 graduate of Midview High School and was named to the Lorain County Athletic Honor Roll. He also attended the University of Cincinnati and Lorain County Community College. He was formerly employed as an electrician at Ridge Tool Company in Elyria. Steve was active in scouting and was an Eagle Scout and had also been a counselor at Firelands Scout Reservation in Wakeman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trained and field trailed bird dogs. In 2009 he placed in the local winners trial. Steven is survived by a daughter, Camillia K. Forbush and a son Steven A. Forbush both of Lorain; parents, Eugene and Mary Forbush of Grafton; brother, Gerald Forbush and sister, Christine Morgan both of Elyria; grandmother, Kathryn Forbush of LaGrange and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Lillian Bird and William Forbush. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. until the time of an 8 P.M. funeral service at Dicken Funeral Home 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
