Steven R. Ouellette

Steven Robert Ouellette, 71, of Elyria, OH, died November 22, 2023 at Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky. He was born March 4, 1952 in Hartford, CT and was a 1971 graduate of Enfield High School. Steve served in the US Navy from 1971-1991. Most of his time was touring as a radioman aboard The Spiegel Grove, an amphibious landing ship. Steve was known for his easy going ways, his sense of humor, and his laugh. He loved game nights with friends and had a passion for trains and life. He loved traveling, especially road trips.  He was a loving husband and father and had a contagious love for life.

Steve is survived by his wife of 14 years, Penelope F. Lynch; his children; siblings, Maryellen Baker, Nora Dunphy, Sarah Larkin, George, Frank, Herbert and Paul and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Rose Ouellette and a sister, Rebecca.
