Susan Jane Griffiths

Susan Jane Griffiths, 85, of Elyria, died June 11, 2024 at The Abbewood, Elyria.  She was born April 27, 1939 in Elyria and was a 1957 graduate of Elyria High School.  In 1961 she received a bachelors degree in education from Bowling Green State University and taught in various school systems until retiring to care for her mother. 

Susan is survived by sisters, Mary Griffiths of Fairfield, CT and Janet (Charles) Vaccaro of Halesite, NY; nephews, Joe, Dave and Matt Vaccaro and 6 great-nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Leona “Bennie” Griffiths.

Private burial was in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
