Vera Dee Jennings (nee: Caplinger) Vera Dee Jennings (nee: Caplinger), 69, of Elyria, died February 27, 2011. She was born August 23, 1941 in Zanesville, Ohio.Vera is survived by sons, Clarence William Smith and Charles Martin Smith both of Elyria; daughters, Nancy Ellen Conley and Kristine Lallathin both of Elyria and Donna Jean McDaniels of Findlay, Ohio; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Janet Paxson of Zanesville, and Nancy Mullinax of Roseville; brothers, William G. (Barbara) Caplinger and Obed H. (Theresa) Caplinger both of Zanesville. She was preceded in death by husbands, Donald K. Smith in 1967 and Donald E. Jennings in 2007; son, Donald K. Smith; daughter, Mary Jane Smith; parents, Clarence W. Caplinger and Blanche Caplinger Dayton; brothers, Charles H. Harmon and Charles W. Caplinger and a sister, Dorothy Pierce.Friends will be received Tuesday from 5:00 PM until the time of a 7:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria, Ohio. Burial will be Friday 2 pm in Coshocton County Memory Gardens, Coshocton, Ohio.
