William "Bill" Glover Obituary

William “Bill” Glover, 88, of Elyria Township, died Tuesday March 18, 2025 after a brief illness at Ames Family Hospice House, Westlake.  He was born January 23, 1937 in Wetzel County, WV.  Bill was formerly employed by Lawson Milk Company, Rini Rego and Sunshine Farms.  He loved his family very much, spending time outdoors, wildlife and animals, gardening, bowling, plowing snow and anything that kept him busy.

Bill is survived by his wife and the queen of his heart of 33 years, Susan (nee Hayes); daughters, Tena (George) Tompkins, Carol (Scott) Kearney and Michelle Glover; son, Billy (Jessica) Glover; grandchildren, Karen (Grant) Williamson, Kelli (Will) Tompkins, Leo Taylor, Brylee, Mackene, Zane, Kaitlynn, Jacob and Joshua Glover; great-grandchildren, Jack and Charlie Williamson; brothers, Paul and Chuck Glover and a sister, Linda Wildman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Tena Glover; daughter, Tammy Glover; brother, Jack Glover and sisters, Judith Ann Glover and Juanita Michael.

Friends will be received Friday, March 21, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
