Rodney V. Horner

Rodney V. Horner, Sr., 56, of Elyria, died December 30, 2018 at his home after a brief illness. He was born April 30, 1962 in Elyria and was proud of his American Indian heritage. Rod attended Lorain County Joint Vocational School and received a certificate of completion as a certified welder. He was formerly employed at Multi Link and Camaco. One of his interests was that of being a self taught taxidermist.

Rod is survived by his wife of twenty two years, Suzanne M. Horner (nee: Crozier); children, Cheyenne R., Rodney V. Jr., Britney L. and Elaine Horner; mother, Rose Horner; brothers, Jack, Dana (Terry) and David Horner and a sister, Jill Adkins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold E. Horner in 2005.

Friends will be received Friday January 4, 2019 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 74924 Cleveland, OH 44194-4924 or a charity of choice.
