Adrian W. Caywood, 75, of Elyria, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria.He was born April 20, 1936 in Marietta, OH, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marietta College and served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1962. He later moved to Elyria, where he taught for 30 years at Elyria High School. He also served as Executive President of Lamplight Industries in Lorain, which supplied streetlamps throughout Lorain County.Adrian is survived by a sister Patresa DeMent of Port Charlotte, Florida, friend and caregiver, Glen Mikolanda of Lorain and longtime companion and caregiver Pamela Roe of Elyria.He was preceded in death by a brother Jerome L. Jay in 1996 and his parents Edwin C. & Verna J. (nee Goodnight) Caywood. Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria handled arrangements.
