Alfreda was one of the greatest people I ever met. I feel fortunate to have known her. I will always remember her beautiful smile and hugs. She would open her arms and give me the BEST hug. Anyone who knew her will never forget what a wonderful person she was. I am keeping all her family members in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
I loved my Aunt Fred and thought of her as a second Mother to me. When l was seventeen or eighteen, l went and lived with my Aunt, Uncle Jim and family for several months. My Aunt treated me like one of her own. I will always remember our late night talks sitting at the kitchen table after my Uncle who worked third shift left for work. We would sit and talk about different things like when she was young, when she got married, about God and about what was going in my life at that time. She was a good listener and caring and felt comfortable sharing my thoughts with her. Not to mention she had a great laugh and good sense of humor. Even though we had only seen each other once in ten years and unfortunately spoke only once, she was always in my thoughts and prayers and know l was in hers. I know that she will be greatly missed as a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, neighbor and all those who knew her through the years at the Kingdom Hall. She was a woman of faith and now she is in the hands of the Lord.
I loved my Aunt Fred. I thought of her as a second Mother because she treated me like one of her own when l lived with her, my Uncle Jim and family for several months when l was 17 years old. I will always remember our late night talks together at the kitchen table after my Uncle Jim who worked 3rd shift left for work. We would sit there having a glass of wine and talking about different things. I always felt comfortable telling her how l felt inside at that time as a 17 year old because she was a good listener and caring. I felt in a sense she took me under her wing. Plus, I cannot forget her great laugh and good sense of humor. l know that she will be greatly missed by many who knew her as a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and all that knew her at the Kingdom Hall through the years.
