Alicia Ann LaRiche (nee Bruck), 32, of Elyria, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at EMH Healthcare.She was born May 1, 1981 in Elyria, attended Elyria Catholic High School and graduated from Midview High School in 1999.She attended LCCC and Bowling Green State University and was formerly employed at N.C.C.T.F. in Grafton as a correctional officer. She enjoyed volunteering with her Life Group through Church of the Open Door and recently helped locally with community gardens in Elyria. She was a member of AA and enjoyed reaching out to others who were in need. She enjoyed singing in choir and being with her family. Alicia is survived by her husband Damon D. LaRiche of Elyria; daughter Skylar Squire and son Dimitrius LaRiche; parents Timothy L. and Mary J. Julie (nee Izold) Bruck of Carlisle Township; sister Selena R. Bruck of Carlisle Township; grandmother Dorothy E. Bruck of Elyria; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her grandparents Edward Bruck in 1977; Joseph Izold; Elizabeth Izold and an uncle Fr. Joseph Sudock in 2003.Friends will be received Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Visitation will also be Friday, November 15, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a noon. service at Church of the Open Door, 43275 Telegraph Rd., Elyira, OH with Pastor Dan Samms, pastor of Group Life at Church of the Open Door, officiating. Burial will be in New Russia Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to benefit Alicias two children Skylar and Dimitrius.
