Allan Diederich Obituary
Allan E. Diederich, 66, of Elyria, died unexpectedly April 16, 2023. He was born September 25, 1956 in Elyria and was a 1975 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School. He began his working career at Meyer Goldberg and Kroger’s and for the past 40 years has been employed at Custom Gutter, Elyria. Some of his interests included golf and bowling and he enjoyed spending time with his dogs and cats. Allan is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl (nee Hewitt); brothers, David (Diane) Diederich, Gregory (Kathy) Diederich, Joseph (Lisa) Diederich and Michael (Marlene) Diederich; sisters, Annie (Scott) Ressler, Debra (David) Tschudy and Genie Diederich; numerous nieces and nephews and his father and mother-in-law, Charles and Isabel Hewitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Olga Diederich and a brother, Paul. Friends will be received Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Father Charles J. Ryba will be the Celebrant.
