Allan L. Barth, 79, of Grafton, died September 17, 2014 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange.He was born June 5, 1935 in Elyria and served in the U.S. Army on a ship as a stevedore during the Korean War. Before retiring, he was self employed for twenty five years as a masonry contractor.Allan is survived by a daughter, Andrea (Mark) Duplaga of Oberlin; sons, Bruce (Cheryl) Barth and Brian (Annie) Barth both of Wellington; grandchildren, Brandy, Jodi, Heather, Melissa, Nichole, Stephanie and Paige; great grandchildren, Grace, Morgan and Anderson and a sister, Bonnie (Chuck) Holtzman of Grafton.He was preceded in death by his father, Theron Barth in 1956; mother Marquerite Barth in 2002 and brothers, Melvin in 1930, Ronald in 1981 and Dennis in 2003.Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria.
