Alonzo Shuman Obituary
Alonzo W. Shuman, 79, of Elyria, died March 19, 2017. He was born February 22, 1938 in Elyria and served with the Army National Guard of Ohio and the Army Reserve.Alonzo was formerly employed as a machine operator at Cleveland Plastics and then as a security guard at Invacare. Alonzo is survived by sons Mark and Fred Stanislawski, both of Elyria; daughters, Sylvia and Ida Stanislawski, both of Lorain; grandson and great grandson, Matt and Zayden Stanislawski; brother, Leon Shuman and a sister, Ruth Fyffe of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen E. Shuman in 2014 and a brother Mike Shuman. A graveside service will be Friday, March 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria.
