Amy McHugh-Leonard Obituary
Amy B. McHugh-Leonard, 50, of North Ridgeville, died November 10, 2020 at Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital after a 7 ½ year battle with cancer. She was born October 12, 1970 in Elyria and was a 1989 graduate of Midview High School. Amy was a member and for the past 9 years office manager for Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville. She loved music and animals and passionately rescued dogs and cats. Three of her rescue dogs, she especially loved were Tater, Dakota and Shady. Amy is survived by daughters, Lexi McHugh and Sydnie McHugh, both of North Ridgeville; parents, Bob and Marsha Leonard of Wellington; brothers, Craig (Lisa) Leonard of Cuyahoga Falls and Michael (Trang) Leonard of Houston, TX and a sister, Ann (Chris) Galloway of Amherst. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert James Leonard in 1964 and her grandmother, Ann “Boo Nana” Meeks in 2009. A memorial service was held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville. Reverend Dr. Tom Joyce officiated.
