Amy E. Putzier (nee Christensen), 90, of Elyria, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at EMH Healthcare.She was born December 6, 1921 in Elyria and was a 1939 graduate of Eaton School. She was employed at C.H. Merthe Company in Elyria and then in the medical record department of EMH Healthcare, from where she retired. She and her husband had also owned and operated Cliffs Snow White at the corner of East Ave. and Fuller Rd. in Elyria. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Oberlin and enjoyed attending her grandchildrens sporting events and activities and meeting with her Tuesday breakfast bunch. She was a Cleveland Indians fan and kept active playing cards, word search, crossword puzzles and reading.Amy is survived by her son Fredrick L. of Columbia Station; grandchildren Christian F. Putzier of Medina, Matthew L. Putzier of Canfield and Sabrina E. Putzier of Olmsted Township and a brother Walter Christensen of Grafton.She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Clifford F. in 1992; son Leslie C. in 1968 and a brother Robert Christensen.Friends will be received Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria, OH 44035. A funeral service will be Monday, 11:00 a.m. January 23, 2012 at the funeral home with Reverend Josh Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
