Ann Molnar Obituary
Ann Marie Molnar (nee Mauger), 86, passed away October 1, at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain, surrounded by her family. She was born April 4, 1935, to Andrew and Mary Mauger (nee Polash) in Windber, Pennsylvania and was a 1953 graduate of Windber High School. Ann was a loving wife and mother. She taught special education students and religious education classes, was a Catholic Lay Minister to the sick and served for 20 years as a Mercy New Life Hospice volunteer. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. In her earlier years, she enjoyed camping and traveling. Ann is survived by her son, Edward Molnar, Jr. (Phyllis); daughters, Mary Beth Willi (Nick), Carol Belfi (Charles), and Tricia Vandemark; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a brother Leonard Mauger (Pat). She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Edward Molnar, Sr.; son Kenneth Molnar; and a daughter Deborah Everett. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 10:00 am at St Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St Joseph Drive, Amherst. Reverend Timothy J. O’Connor will officiate.
