Anna Jane Pumphrey (nee: Easton), 89, of Amherst and formerly of Lorain, died October 23, 2015 at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake. She was born May 2, 1926 in Lorain and was a 1944 graduate of Lorain High School. Anna also graduated from Oberlin College of Commerce and in 1982 received an associate degree in Business Management from Lorain County Community College. She attended River of Life Church in Elyria.Anna is survived by daughters, Mary L. (Joe) Glessner of Elyria and Linda M. (Ed) Schmidt of Taylorsville, Kentucky; granddaughter, Caitlyn M. Glessner of Elyria and nephews, Scott Dunlap of Amherst and Tom Reichert of Chesterland.She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Bruce Pumphrey in 1970; grandson, Jeremy Glessner and parents, Corydon and Mary Easton.Friends will be received Tuesday October 27, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the time of a 1:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Pastor Steven Haddix will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
