Anna Levan Obituary
Anna M. Levan (nee Reidinger), 98, of Elyria, died peacefully in her home January 27, 2021. She was born May 28, 1922 in Trevorton, PA, moving to Elyria in 1946. For 18 years, Anna was employed in the alterations department at J.C. Penney Company at Midway Mall. Anna was a member of St. Mary Church, Elyria and Elyria VFW #1079 Auxiliary. Her interests included baking, ballroom dancing, golfing, camping and traveling. Anna is survived by a daughter, Robyn A. Bognar of Elyria; son, Chris Levan of Atlanta, GA; 4 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Kenneth T. Levan in 2005; grandson, David Todd Martin; parents, Frank and Nora Reidinger; brothers, Sylvester, Carl, Wilford and Cletus Reidinger; and a sister, Evelyn Foye. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 1, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Charles T. Diedrick will be the celebrant. Covid -19 precautions will be observed, face masks are required. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
