Annabelle J. Watt (nee Hanigan), 71, of Elyria, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain.She was born January 3, 1942 in Cleveland, was raised in North Ridgeville and has been a 50 year resident of Elyria.She was formerly employed at Puffers Floral Shoppe in Elyria.Annabelle was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and a member and past president of Womens Council and Ladies Guild and also a member of the Altar Guild and Voters Assembly of the church.She was widely known for her Halloween displays of over 100 lighted, carved pumpkins decorating her yard.Annabelle is survived by husband of 50 years, James W.; daughter Cynthia A. Watt of Elyria; son James H. (Anneliese) Watt of Terre Haute, IN; grandson Jeffrey J. Watt; sister Grace Fusa of North Ridgeville and brothers William Hanigan of Lorain, Charles Kolhoff of Elyria and Reggie and Robert Kolhoff of Florida.She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Virginia Hanigan; brothers Joseph Hanigan and Denny Ray Kolhoff.Friends will be received Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Friends will also be received Monday, February 25, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of an 11:00 a.m. funeral service at St. John Lutheran Church, 1140 West River Rd., North, Elyria. Reverend James Herbolsheimer will officiate with burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
