HYLE, ANNIE McPHIE MacDONALD, of Elyria, left this earth peacefully on July 20th surrounded by her children and grandchildren.She is survived by 7 children, Colin (Chris), Beverly Johnson (Harlan, deceased), Patricia Grob (Geoffery, deceased), Linda Machovina (Jim), Carol Plank (Tim), Edward (Carol) and Kim Levine (Ron). Grandmother of 18 and a Great-Grandmother to 29. She was a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walter, Grandchildren, David Saylor, Colin Hyle, Carey Alltop Morin and Sisters, Margaret, Colina, Adelaide and Catherine. Annie was born in Edinburgh, Scotland to Colin and Mary Adelaide MacDonald, she came to the US in 1926. She lived in Akron, Ohio most her life, later settling in Elyria where she and her late husband, Walter raised 7 children. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Elyria. Annie was a floral designer and loved to paint. She had a booth at Jamies Flea Market for many years upon retiring in the late 1990s. She was an active and lifelong member of the Elyria Womens Club. A private graveside and burial service will be held at Sunset Park on July 27th.
