Anthony Jason Shaw, 18, of Elyria, died August 9, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born May 13, 2002 in Elyria and would have been a senior at OHDELA. Anthony was employed at McDonald’s in Elyria. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, 4-wheeler and fishing and hunting. Anthony is survived by his father, Anthony C. “Tony” Shaw; mother, Nancy Laubert; siblings, Christina Salameh, Jamie James, Eric Laubert, and Gregory Laubert; paternal grandparents, Clyde Shaw and Beverly Piper; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Mildred Dawes. Friends will be received Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Due to COVID-19 precautions, face coverings are required.
