Antone Louis “Tony” Suta, 75, of Elyria, died November 19, 2022. He was born October 20, 1947 in Elyria, Ohio. From 1964-1966, he served in the US Navy. He retired in 2006 from Ford Motor Company, Avon Lake as an assembler. Tony enjoyed fishing, hunting, attending flea markets and playing poker with fellow Ford retirees. He also played guitar, liked to sing and once wrote a song for his wife, Joyce. Tony was very proud of his Hungarian heritage. Tony is survived by sons, Tony M. Suta of AZ and Vance M. (fiancé Rose M. Strawderman) Suta of Elyria; daughter, Lisa L. Suta of Elyria and grandchildren, Sammy Streets, Jeremiah and Toni Ann Suta and Jordan Lee Sand. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Joyce L. in 2010; daughter, Vicki Lynn in 1968; parents, Peter and Julia (nee Piskuran) Suta and siblings, Judy Goodrich, Carolyn Bynum, Tibor Suta, Ilona Menner and Thomas Suta. A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Brookdale Cemetery.
