Arthur Dayton Obituary
Arthur D. Dayton, 80, of Huron, died September 20, 2021 at Mercy Health-Lorain Hospital. He was born September 12, 1941 in Wilkinsburg, PA, was a 1960 graduate of Wilkinsburg High School and served in the US Army. After getting married, Arthur and his wife moved to Vermilion to raise their family. He later relocated to Huron in 2002. Arthur was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service from where he retired in 2011. He had also been employed by Dutch Boy Paints, Radio Shack and was the owner of World Wide Stereo in the 1980’s. Arthur enjoyed evening martinis, good food and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Arthur is survived by his children, Jennifer (Brian) Howard and Craig (Gina) Dayton; grandchildren, Lauren, Emily and Taylor Howard and Aubrey Dayton and longtime friend, Vertis Clements. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Susan Kunak. At the request of Art, there will be no services.
