Arthur Scott Linville, 82, of Elyria, died in his home January 12, 2017. He was born December 18, 1934 in Naoma, WV. For 43 years, he was employed at Ford Motor Company, Brookpark, retiring in 1998. Scott was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Elyria. He was a musician, enjoyed bluegrass music and played several string instruments. He was also a piano tuner and a member of the Piano Guild. Scott is survived by his wife of 36 years, Orpha M.; daughters, Kathy, Cindy, Sharon, Charlene and Chana; seven grandchildren; brother, Chris (Myrtle) Linville, sister, Ona Cook and a nephew Robert Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents Freland and May Linville. Friends will be received Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of a 1:00 p.m. service at Calvary Baptist Church, 114 Hope Court, Elyria. Reverend Arthur Myers will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria.
