Avery Susak Obituary
Avery K. Susak, 24, of Amherst, died October 4, 2022 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born March 7, 1998 in Lorain, graduated from Radford High School in Honolulu, Hawaii and received a Bachelors Degree from the Art Institute of Virginia Beach. Avery’s father’s career in the US Navy allowed them to live in numerous cities and countries for the past 20 years, including Italy and Iceland, returning to the area within the past 2 years. He was employed at Z-Graphics by Jan as a graphic designer and as a freelance designer recently creating a commercial T-shirt for a Naval Air Squadron based in Virginia Beach, VA. He was also employed in the electronics department at Wal-Mart in Oberlin. Avery had a big heart and loved everyone. He was a jokester, enjoyed making people laugh, telling jokes, and enjoyed music and gaming. Avery is survived by his parents, David and Carrie (nee Criss) Susak; sister, Baileigh Susak, serving in the US Air Force; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Gloria Criss and paternal grandparents, James and Janice Susak. Friends will be received Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of a 12:30 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Reverend W. Kent Joy officiating. Burial will follow in Penfield Township Cemetery. In honor of Avery, please wear your favorite gaming, anime, or humorous saying T-shirts.
