Barbara A. WardBarbara A. Ward (nee: Dunbar), 91, of Elyria, died, July 11, 2018 in her home. She was born December 10, 1926 in Leicester, England, moving to the United States in 1946. For over thirty years Barbara was an Avon Representative. Some of her interests included playing bingo, knitting, reading and baking.Barbara is survived by daughters, Linda Schank of Litchfield and Pamela Kauffman of Avon Lake; eleven grandchildren including her caregiver, John David Renfrow; thirteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Ward in 1978; son, Stephen Ward in 2012 and daughter, Judith Renfrow in 2018.A memorial service will be Friday July 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Pilgrum United Church of Christ, 523 East Broad Street, Elyria. Reverend Troy Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
