Betty Begala (nee: Stirzaker)Betty Begala (nee: Stirzaker), 88, of Elyria, died May 19, 2018 at O’Neill Healthcare, North Ridgeville. She was born May 22, 1929 in Elyria and was a 1947 graduate of Elyria High School. Betty was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for an accounting firm at Tower City, Cleveland. She and her husband were former owners of the Oberlin IGA and in 2004 Betty retired from Confidential Credit Counselors INC, Elyria.Betty is survived by her children, Tammy (Ken) Greber, Tom (Teresa) Begala, Sue Henly, Jeff Sugaski, Cindy Mitchell and Duane Sugaski; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
