Betty J. Hardman (nee Isenhart), 86, of Elyria, died December 27, 2015 at her home.She was born April 6, 1929 in Cedarville, WV and moved to Elyria in the 1950s.Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her pets, especially her cats Lucky and Princess and gardening. Other interests included collecting dolls, attending auctions and flea markets and had traveled by motorcycle to California.She is survived by her daughters Kim S. (Angel) Nieves of Elyria and Kennetta (Paul) Sampsel of Wooster; son Robert (Tina) Hardman of Wellington; and grandchildren Devon and Mercedes Nieves, Raven Hardman, Megan Simms and Anthony (Danielle) Winfield.She was preceded in death by husbands Clarence Reeser in 1952 and Harry E. Hardman in 2006; son William Childs; parents Roy and Madge Isenhart; brothers Hubert, Ernest, Charles, William, Hurley, Franklin, George and Buddy Jack Isenhart and sisters Olena Pearl, Helen, Mary and Geraldine. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the time of a noon service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria.
