Betty Kincannon Obituary
Betty R. Kincannon (nee Brown), 92, of LaGrange, died, August 11, 2021 at Keystone Pointe, LaGrange, OH. She was born February 13, 1929 in Spring City, TN and has been a LaGrange area resident since 1953. Betty had been employed for twenty-five years at JC Penny Co. in Elyria and Midway Mall from where she retired. She had been a longtime member of First Baptist Church of LaGrange. After retiring she enjoyed traveling with her husband, attending flea markets and spending time with her grandchildren. Betty is survived by a daughter, Donna (George) Kolesar of Elyria; sons, Steven (Dot) Kincannon of Snow Hill, NC, Gary (Karen) Kincannon of LaGrange and Gerald (Sherry) of Grafton; grandchildren, Rachael, Ashley, Kari, Sara, Joel; great grandchildren, Oliver, Wyatt, Madden, Piper, Trey and Taylor and great-great grandchildren, Cohen and Crew and a sister, Joyce Newby of Spring City, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Russell F. in 2008; a grandson, Scott and siblings, Max, Ray, Dwight and June. Private visitation and service for the family will be Monday, August 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of an 11:00 AM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Pastor Noel Hack will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
