Chris and Weber family: Sorry to hear of the loss of Boyd. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Karen Edwards (from LHS)
Boyd became a good friend to me over the past years. We shared a love for Genealogy and talked frequently. I know, though, that he had a hard time over the past few months, with failing health. Rest In Peace, my friend.
Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of grief. My hope is that the words of Christ Jesus be of comfort, when he stated that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5: 28, 29). We can also take comfort in God's personal promise to "wipe out every tear" and that soon, even "death will be no more" (Revelation 21: 4).
Greg, My condolences to you and to Boyd's siblings. Boyd was such an interesting, intelligent man who had such a passion for genealogy and history. I always learned something new from him whenever we started discussing genealogy. His contributions to the genealogy community will be enjoyed by future genealogists and history buffs for a long time. I am so glad that I had the chance to get to know him a bit. Boyd will be missed for sure.
Dear Family of Boyd, Though years have passed since I've seen him ,I an still very saddened to hear of his passing. I met Boyd almost 40 years ago hitchhiking . Then come to find out he worked with my mom , (Barbara Provoznik ), for O.D.O.T. in both Ashland and Oberlin . I also worked in Oberlin for a summer / fall cleanup season . He was a very kind soul indeed. He is now in the place of the unclouded day. Rest in peace old friend of mine.
My condolences to the Weber family for your loss...
