Brenden Jordon Rich-BeckettBrenden Jordon Rich-Beckett, 16, of Elyria, died, July 5, 2018 at Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital, Cleveland. He was born March 3, 2002 in Elyria and would have been a junior at Elyria High School this year. Brenden was a member of the Elyria High School Football team and a pole vaulter on the Elyria High School Track team. He formerly played baseball at Little League West. He enjoyed going to the Splash Pad with his nephews, flips on the backyard trampoline and swimming in the pool. He loved to sing and spend time with all his extended family.Brenden is survived by siblings, Michael, Jordan, Simone, Tyler, Mariah, Breanna, Tracy, Jr., Larissa, Eric, Rodney, Jr., Dontae, Sierra and Tierra; legal guardians, uncle Rodney and aunt Lisa Beckett; mother, Debra Rich, father Tracy Beckett, Sr.; step-parents, Donnie Litte and Brandi Freeman; maternal grandparents, Julie and Tracy Shirk and Eugene Henderson; paternal grandparents, Joann and Anthony Grantham. Also surviving are a grandpa Little; a poppy and gramma Fee and four great grandparents; seven nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by grandparents, Christine Little and Terri Orr; great grandmas, Lora Beckett and Melvina Orr and five great great grandparents.Friends will be received Monday July 16, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of a noon service at Greater Christ Temple, 123 Oberlin Road, Elyria. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
