Brian Valentine Obituary
Brian K. Valentine, 56, a resident of Lorain County went to be with the Lord September 18, 2014. He was born November 26, 1957 in Orrville, Ohio and was a 1976 graduate of Midview High School. Brian had been employed for fifteen years at Volvo in Wooster, Ohio and most recently as a Teen Challenge counselor in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. After leaving that position he continued to counsel people through the Christian faith. Other interests included boating and fishing. Brian is survived by a son, Cory (Lindsey) Valentine of Elyria; grandchildren, Dayonte and Alonna Horton; sister, Carrie (Luke) Lucas of Sandston, Virginia and a close childhood friend, Mary Ann Callesen of Vermillion. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Lynn Valentine in 2011 and parents, Dwain and Jewel Valentine. Friends will be received Sunday September 21, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Teen Challenge International of Mid America, 303 MATC Lane, Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701.
