Bruce Lee DotsonBruce Lee Dotson, 52, of Homerville, Ohio, died July 4, 2018. He was born January 13, 1966 in Amherst and was a 1984 graduate of Athens High School in Troy, Michigan. Bruce was formerly employed by Burton Steel Processing Inc. in Wickliffe, Ohio. He was a 2011 liver transplant recipient. A fan of all sports especially the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed watching Fox 8 News.Bruce is survived daughters, Lindsey (Rick) Dewees of Ashtabula and Erica and Allison Dotson of Madison; grandchildren, Noah, Josie and Parker; mother, Margaret Brown of Homerville; father; Clyde (Terri) Dotson of Madison; sisters, Rebecca Dotson of Homerville and Bridget (Tom) Borowske of Kirtland; brother, Clyde (Kim) Dotson, Jr. of Mentor and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his step-father, Leonard Brown in 2013 and a sister, Margaret Dotson in 2010. Friends will be received Monday July 9, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be Tuesday July 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Reverend Jeff Mullet, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Spencer will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
