Bunice E. Bea Defibaugh (nee Swindle), 79, of Elyria, died January 1, 2016 at her home.She was born September 3, 1936 in Rome, GA and was a former longtime Lorain resident. For 15 years, she was employed at Maytag Cleaners on Cleveland St., in Elyria. Some of her interests included playing Scrabble, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on television and was also an enthusiastic Cleveland Indians fan.Bea is survived by daughters Donna M. Ramirez of Oberlin and Linda M. Ball of Elyria; sons Alan W. Defibaugh of Martins Ferry, OH, Richard D. Defibaugh of Elyria and Eric D. Defibaugh of Sheffield Village; grandchildren Joseph, Melanie and Mike Ramirez, Alison Defibaugh, James, Steve, Duane and Kimberly Ball, Mickey and Ryan Stinson, Nick, Corey and Matt Wright, Alan Jr. and Kristin Defibaugh, Robert Defibaugh, Jr. and Dillon and Carter Defibaugh; 24 great grandchildren; sisters Tommie Dee (Carl) Adkins, Gaynell Galus, Doreen Dubin, Charlotte Reynolds and Maxine Andrews and a brother Joe Swindle. She was preceded in death by a son Robert in 2010; daughter Ellen Wright in 2015 and a grandson David Ramirez in 1989.Friends will be received Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Sheffield Village Municipal Complex, 4340 Colorado Ave., Sheffield Village, OH 44054.Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria.
