Carol Anne McCullough (nee Burton), 75, of Elyria, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange.She was born August 21, 1937 in Coxs Mills, WV and has resided in Elyria for 50 years.Carol was employed with the Chronicle Telegram in the mail room and retired after 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, word find puzzles, working in the yard, feeding birds, and playing cards.Carol is survived by her husband of 50 years, Arthur S. McCullough; daughter Lori A. (Russell) Markel and a son Rodney S. (Diane) McCullough, all of Elyria; grandchildren Sara Markel, Jarred (Katy) McCullough and Kristen McCullough and great granddaughter, Paisley McCullough. Also surviving are brothers June, Ron and Mike Burton of Coxs Mills, WV; Bud Burton of Weston, WV and sister Jean Langford of Painesville, OH.She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Rema Burton and a sister, Ruth Shobe.A memorial service will be held Friday, November 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, 38550 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH with Reverend Darrell Myers officiating.
