Carol F. Lumadue, 84, of Elyria, went home to be with the Lord July 15, 2020. She was born October 7, 1935 in Buckingham, Perry County, Ohio the daughter of Lloyd “Mac” and Margaret McCoy. Carol married her childhood sweetheart Malcolm G. Lumadue February 27, 1954. They met in 8th grade and were both 1953 graduates of Elyria High School. In addition to her husband Malcolm, she is survived by children, Steve (Debbie) Lumadue, Lisa (Mike) Bruce, and Becky (Chuck) Fugate; she was blessed with grandchildren, Laura, Steven, Jennifer, Jessica, Rachel, and Cody; and great grandchildren, Ethan and Allison. Carol had formerly been employed at F.W. Woolworth and Worthington Ball Company. She was a member of Grafton United Methodist Church where her church family was important to her. Carol was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels on her back porch. She loved family trips to Myrtle Beach, hosting Christmas Eve celebrations, her dachshunds, and her granddogs Toby and Lola. She was a fan of all Cleveland sports, especially the Indians. A private family service will be at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Pastor Bob Spaulding officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to Grafton United Methodist Church, 973 Mechanic Street, Grafton, Ohio 44044.
