Edward F. Elbert (Little Edward)
Dear Aunt Carole: You were always so sweet and kind-hearted to me as a child. Your memory stands out in my mind as one of the most magnificent women I've ever known.. There was just a certain way that you spoke and interacted with me (with loving kindness and respect) that I will never forget... but I shouldn't be surprised, you had dear Gramma Elbert to teach you. I was engaged to be married and living in Oklahoma at the time, but my fiance and I certainly would have driven to Elyria for your funeral if my parents or siblings would have told me about it. Only found out last year from dear Nancy (God rest her soul). Miss you, and Gramma... and all the aunts, uncles and cousins that have lost touch over the years. I will never forget those amazing times at the cottage up north or the holidays and family reunions in Elyria. Goodbye Aunt Carole
