Carolyn Bender Obituary
Carolyn J. Bender (nee Clark), 70, of Lorain, died April 7, 2021 at Keystone Pointe, LaGrange. She was born March 21, 1951 in Lorain and was a graduate of Elyria High School. Carolyn received a degree as a Registered Nurse from Lorain County Community College. She had also owned and operated Bender’s Dairy Corner in Elyria. Carolyn is survived by her husband of forty nine years, Matthew G.; daughters, Amanda (Nathan) Parrack of Grafton and Malinda (Floyd Jackson) Bender of Dublin, Ireland; grandchildren, Matilda and Walter Parrack; brother, John Clark of Lorain and a sister, Mary (Lenny) Holstin of Frost Proof, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Billie Clark; a brother, Delbert Clark, Jr.; and a sister, Pamela Clark. Friends will be received Saturday April 17, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of a 1:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis TN 38105-9959.
