Charles M. Cheese Smith, 48, of Elyria, died September 6, 2012 while riding his motorcycle.He was born October 1, 1963 in Zanesville, OH and was a graduate of Elyria High School through Lorain County Joint Vocational School,he was formerly employed at Diamond Products in Elyria and as a school crossing guard. Cheese was also a member of the Iron Coffins Motorcycle club.Charles is survived by a daughter, Hannah Smith; stepdaughter, Amber Marcum; brother, Clarence W. Smith of Elyria;; sisters Nancy E. Conley and Kristine E. Lallathin, both of Elyria and Donna J. McDaniel of Findlay, OH.He was preceded in death by his father, Donald K. Smith, Sr. in 1967, stepfather, Donald E. Jennings in 2007, mother, Vera Dee Jennings in 2011; brother Donald K. Smith and a sister, Mary Jane Smith.Friends will be received Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 5p.m. until the time of a 7:00 p.m. memorial service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria.
