Charles E. Fitch, 62, of Elyria, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in his home, surrounded by loved ones.He was born October 5, 1949 in Lorain and was a 1967 graduate of Elyria High School. He was employed for 30 years by the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 42 of Norwalk, Ohio. His interests included boating, fishing and he was able to repair almost anything.Charlie is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Nancy L. Perrott; daughters Michelle and Kristi Fitch, both of Amherst; stepson Sam (Shannon) Perrott Jr. and stepdaughter Angela Ramirez, both of Elyria; grandchildren Tyler and Hailey Young and step grandchildren Brandon and Brittany Perrott and Zachary Seljan; brothers Raymond, Alfred, Robert and Martin Fitch and a sister Ruth Winchel.He was preceded in death by his mother Vivian Bendik; father Donald Fitch and stepfathers Andy Bendik and Bill Phiel; sister Evelyn Dittmer and a step grandson Scott Seljan.Services will be private.
