Charles M. “Mike” AllenCharles M. “Mike” Allen, 66, of Elyria, died at his home February 4, 2018. He was born February 21, 1951 in Memphis, TN and was a graduate of Vermilion High School in Vermilion, Ohio. Mike was a Veteran of The United States Marine Corp. from 1969- 1971 and served in Vietnam. He was employed as a truck driver by New Era Trucking from where he retired. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and spending time with his wife and family.Mike is survived by his wife, Carol (nee: Van Antwerp); son, James “Little Mike” Allen; grandchildren, Nina and Zoey and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Myrtle Allen and a brother, Jimmy Allen.
