Charles P. Lloyd, Jr., 74, of Elyria, formerly of Avon Lake and Berlin, NJ, died August 22, 2014 in his home after suffering a stroke. He was born October 8, 1939 in Camden, NJ and was a 1958 graduate of Haddon Heights High School. Charles worked as an inspector and customer liaison to the Ford Plants for the Budd Company, retiring in 1984. While living in Berlin, NJ he was a volunteer firefighter and a member of Berlin Baptist Church.Charles is survived by his wife of 53years, Nancy L. (nee Elling); daughters Cindy (Brad) Bevington, Marci (Steve) Kyle, and Lynn (Brian) Kushinski; son Joshua Lloyd; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.He was preceded in death by parents Charles P. Sr. and Esther V. Lloyd.Entombment was at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, where a service was held for the family August 26, 2014. Dicken Funeral Home, Elyria was in charge of arrangements.
