Our beloved Charles V. “Charlie” Dolan, 83, of Elyria, went home to be with the Lord, July 8, 2022. He was born May 13, 1939 in Lost Creek, WV and was a resident of Elkins, WV before moving to Elyria. He was a US Army veteran, having served time in Germany. Charlie was formerly employed at Ridge Tool Company, Elyria. He enjoyed outdoor activities, including camping and fishing. Charlie is survived by companion, Christine Solak; children, Thomas Dolan, Christine Sturgeon (nee Dolan), both of Elyria and Annegrate Kubler (nee Maus) of Germany; 10 grandchildren; niece, Anna Marie Abuzeidieh (nee Dolan); and a nephew, Carl Dolan. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Dolan; grandson, Ryan Campbell; father, Stokes Dolan; mother, Sylvia Randolph; brother, Carl Dolan; and a sister, Jesse Bauermeister (nee Randolph). A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
