Eric and I send our love to Chet's family. We loved him dearly and will never forget his selfless days as my youth leader. What an inspiration he was! We appreciated his strong stand for Truth and his love of Christ. Much love to you all. Cheryl Sharpnack Elmer
Grandpa Hogan has always been so sweet and kind. His love for the Lord and his wife were evident in his everyday living. My thoughts, prayers, and wishes go out to his family as they are missing a wonderful man. However, that man couldn't be anything but smiles right now as he is in heaven looking down on us holding Emily's hand.
"Papa" Hogan will be greatly missed. My boys loved when he came to visit as he was our only family from Elyria to make it to FL. I remember when he rescued me from the banister that tried to "eat" my leg and he told me my leg was just too dirty to get out. He used soap to free me. :) He supported each generation of young people at the church. He knew they were the future. Everyone knew he loved Jesus. He touched many lives and I'm thankful he was part of ours.
You all are in our prayers. I know Chet is up there in Heaven waiting on us. I have great memories of him refereeing my basketball games. I can still remember one game, he called a foul on me, I said "Uncle Chet" and he responded "You can't talk to the referee". **smile** He was a very good Man of God!
