Christian B. Anderson, 39, of Elyria, died peacefully in his sleep Saturday, October 29, 2011. He was born December 22, 1971 in Elyria and was a 1990 graduate of Elyria High School and a graduate of Tiffin University.Chris had been employed for 20 years at Ford Motor Company in Avon Lake. He was an enthusiastic sports fan and enjoyed watching his children participate in football, hockey, baseball, basketball, track, volleyball, soccer and swimming. Chris is survived by his wife Jennifer L. (nee Higgins); daughter Taylor N. son Colton B. and twin sons Jacob G. & Jordan L.; parents Marvin & Jean Anderson; brother Timothy, all of Elyria and a sister Laurie of Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Chris & Laura Nelson and paternal grandparents Lee & Marie Anderson.Friends will be received Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A service will be Thursday, November 3, 2011 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Janet A. Long, pastor of Washington Avenue Christian Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to Avon Lake City Schools Athletic Dept., 175 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012.
