?Christopher M. Finnegan, 54, of Elyria, died February 21, 2017. He was born November 6, 1962 in St. Paul, Minnesota and was a 1981 graduate of Noblesville High School in Noblesville, Indiana. In 1986 he received a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree from Louisiana State University where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Chris was employed at Vertix Co., formerly Emerson Network Power, Lorain. He enjoyed attending his daughters sporting events, traveling, camping and golf and was a member of The Boys and Girls Club of Lorain.Chris is survived by daughters, Christina M. and Cara A. Finnegan of Elyria; mother, Karen J. Finnegan and sister, Lisa A. Finnegan both of Vista, CA; brothers, Scott P. Finnegan of Ranier, OR and John M. Finnegan of Cromwell, England.He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick G. Finnegan.A celebration of Christopher’s life will be Saturday March 4, 2017 in The Wiegand Room of St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A prayer service will be at 2:30 PM with Reverend Father Charles T. Diedrick officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to any Huntington Bank Branch in the name of Christina M. Finnegan to help fund the education of his daughters or to a charity of choice. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
