Christopher Ryan AshleyChristopher Ryan Ashley, 13, of Carlisle Township, died suddenly October 15, 2018. He was born September 8, 2005. Chris, known as “Bub” by his family, was a proud Keystone Wildcat and played for the KMS Football Team and band. Chris was a heavy metal lover, Metallica fan, talented artist, comic book aficionado, and the world’s fastest Big Mac eater. He loved science, animals, music, video games, D & D and Star Wars. He was the coolest kid ever. Above all, he was kind.Christopher is survived by his parents, Meryl Ashley and Tom Kannenberg; father, Ryan Ashley; brothers, Andrew and Brayden and their mother, Amanda Stewart; grandparents, Bob Smith, Dawn and Al Dayton and Paula and Leonard Ashley; great grandparents, Judy Smith, Bob and Barb Smith, Teresa Hardy and Rich and Mary MacNair. This is just the tip of the iceberg, as Chris also leaves behind a huge number of aunts, uncles, cousins, step-family as well as hordes of friends. He will also be sorely missed by his pups, Bella and Daisy.Please come celebrate the life of our amazing child Friday October 19, 2018 from 12:00 until the time of a 3:00 PM funeral service at Community of Faith United Church of Christ, 9715 East River Road, Elyria with Reverend Kathryn Ketchum officiating. Burial will be private at Brookdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers (Chris wasn’t a flower-y guy), memorial contributions may be made in Chris’s name to the Keystone Band Boosters or Keystone Athletic Boosters, 501 Opportunity Way, LaGrange 44050..
