Claude Mounts, Jr., 64 of Elyria, died at his home July 14, 2017. He was born July 1, 1953 in Williamson, West Virginia. From 1971 to 1978 Claude served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Before moving to Elyria he was a resident of Grayson, Kentucky. He spent most of his working career in construction and enjoyed fishing.Claude is survived by his wife of twenty one years, Susan Marie Mounts; parents, Claude and Ruby Mounts; children, Dean (Grace), Doug, Ida (Larry), Johnnie, Nancy, Christopher, Jack and Regina; twenty one grandchildren and three great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a son, Delbert Summers. Friends will be received Monday July 17, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
